Mebel Exhibition: the Unrivalled Leader
Mebel ranks among the world's largest furniture exhibitions in scale and effectiveness, and annually confirms its status as the largest specialized exhibition event both in Russia and Eastern Europe.

High International Prestige
The high international prestige and status of the Mebel Exhibition is confirmed by UFI - the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry and RUEF - the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs. The Exhibition is held under the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Moscow City Government. The event enjoys the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Union of Timber Industrialists and Exporters, Centromebel ZAO, Centerlesexpo OAO and the Russian Association Workers of the Furniture Industry and Trade 'Furniture Makers of Russia'.

Mebel annually welcomes the global furniture industry leaders.
Exhibition space of 45 400 sq m reached a record high in 2007.
Number of participants: In 2007 the Exhibition welcomed 1 225 companies: Russian - 620, foreign - 606. For several years there has been an ideal split of 50/50 between Russian and foreign exhibitors.

Exhibitors from 28 countries: Austria, Republic of Belarus, Brazil, China, Czechia, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, India, Indonesia, Italy, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, USA and Ukraine. National expositions by the Republic of Belarus, Croatia, Germany, Great Britain, Finland, France, Italy, Laos, Moldova, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain and Turkey.

	The furniture industry leaders consider the Mebel Exhibition as the most prestigious event that effectively contributes to their companies' growth and development. 71% of the exhibitors have participated in the Exhibition more than once.
Total number of visits: 51 000 people, 88% of whom are specialists from 70 countries, residents from 7 Federal Districts and 500 Russian cities and towns.

The exhibitors and visitors have a common interest. 91% of the visitors were chief executives, specialists and professional decision-makers interested in concluding deals and contracts.

Exhibition-Related Events
An extensive programme of accompanying events at Mebel'2007 included seminars, conferences, master classes and roundtables, where the participants discussed every aspect of the modern furniture industry development.
The 2nd Moscow International Congress of the Furniture Industry (MIFIC) held within the Mebel'2007 framework became one of the topical furniture industry events of unparalleled significance for Russia. The speakers at the conferences were renowned specialists in marketing, advertising and business psychology, and leading IT specialists.
