According to Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federal Assembly Sergey Zheleznyak, the Mebel exhibition is a business card of the furniture industry

Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federal Assembly, Chairman of the Mebel 2015 Organising Committee Sergey Zheleznyak sent his welcome address to the participants, visitors and organisers of the 27th International Exhibition for Furniture, Fittings and Upholstery  Mebel 2015.   
 
In his welcome message Sergey Zheleznyak pointed out that for the past forty years the trade show had become a business card of the furniture industry. The show promotes international cooperation and provides the best items of furniture, fittings and upholstery materials.
 
The 27th International Exhibition Mebel will run from November 23 through 27 at Expocentre Fairgrounds. The event is organised by Expocentre ZAO and supported by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade. The show runs under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
 
The trade show offers a wide range of furniture and interior items from budgetary to luxury ones for bedrooms, dining rooms, sitting rooms, children’s rooms, and kitchens.
 
The exhibition accompanying program features many events, among them forums, conferences, round table discussions and others. The events enable participants to get accurate and relevant information and exchange expert opinions.
 
For the first time the Mebel exhibition runs along with the Forest and Man 2015. Woodworking International Forum. The forum is initiated by the Russian Union of Timber Manufacturers and Exporters and supported by the Russian Government. It is devoted to the most important issues of the woodworking industry in particular one of its sectors – the furniture industry.
