Mebel 2016 will once again bring together Russian and foreign furniture manufacturers

Every autumn Expocentre Fairgrounds, Moscow, hosts one of the main events of the Russian and European furniture markets – the Mebel International Exhibition for Furniture, Fittings and Upholstery. This year it will run on November 21 – 25 to bring together leading Russian and foreign manufacturers of furniture and its components.

Mebel 2016 will once again cover all sectors of the furniture industry from upholstered and office furniture, kitchens to individual décor items, accessories and components. The showcase gives a full picture of the current furniture fashion, market trends, the latest materials and production technology.   

According to the Mebel managers, a large number of companies have already booked stands, among them are such well-known Russian companies as Almaz, Ametist, Atlas-Lux,  Borovichi-Mebel, Vitra, Driada, Dyatkovo, Kamea, Lerom, Makmart, Maria, MDM-Complect, Mebel Chernozemya, Nizhegorodmebel, Norkpalm, First Furniture Factory, Stolline, TriYa, Ulyanovsk Furniture Factory, Ufamebel, Hettich Rus, Hafele Rus, Yana, and many others.

Other exhibitors will come from Austria, Belarus, Belgium, China, Germany, India, Italy, South Korea and Poland. National pavilions are built by Germany, Romania and Slovenia, which is coming back with the state support.

As usual, Mebel 2016 will become a great platform for networking and business interaction of all participants of the Russian furniture market. Its diverse associated events are drawn up taking into account interest of wholesale and retail chains, manufacturers, agents, investors, importers and exporters. The exhibition will also feature the 13th edition of the Forum of Directors ‘Furniture as a Business’, which is expected to welcome more than 200 delegates – heads of manufacturing companies, dealers, retail chains and salons from 80 cities of Russia, the Commonwealth of Independent States, Europe and Asia.

Mebel 2016 is held by Expocentre AO with support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, under auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and with assistance of such leading industry associations as the Union of Timber Manufacturers and Exporters of Russia, the Association of Furniture and Woodworking Enterprises of Russia, and Centrlesexpo OAO.  

Mebel will give a launch to new projects and cooperation. Participating companies not only exchange experience but also find new reliable partners which help to make their business international.
