Mebel 2025 is open
The 36th edition of the International Exhibition for Furniture, Fittings and Upholstery – Mebel 2025 – has opened at Crocus Expo. The show is organised by EXPOCENTRE AO.
Mebel 2025 is the largest event in the Russian furniture market, which annually brings together leading manufacturers, suppliers and designers to showcase their latest achievements. The show displays new products in the categories of furniture for residential premises, country houses and public spaces, special furniture, accessories and interior items, materials, components and fittings, furniture and interior fabrics, interior design and furniture, smart technologies, and much more.
More than 700 companies from 8 countries – Russia, Belarus, China, India, Italy, Kazakhstan, Turkiye, and Uzbekistan – occupy an area of about 50,000 sq. m. to represent their products. China has a national pavilion.
Mebel 2025 features Russian regional group stands and pavilions of the Belgorod, Bryansk, Chelyabinsk, Kaliningrad, Kirov, Moscow, Novgorod, Penza, Ryazan, Ulyanovsk, Vologda Oblasts, Sevastopol, the Republic of Tatartan, the Udmurt Republic, and the Krasnodar Krai.
This year, the conference programme of Mebel 2025 includes more than 40 events such as strategic sessions, forums, practical workshops, and other events for furniture industry professionals.
The show and conference programme opened with the 8th Russian Conference of Furniture Manufacturers, The event is organised by EXPOCENTRE and the Association of Furniture and Woodworking Enterprises of Russia, and is moderated by Alexandr Shestakov, CEO at 1MF (First Furniture Factory), President at the Association of Furniture and Woodworking Enterprises of Russia, and Timur Irtuganov, Director General at the Association of Furniture and Woodworking Enterprises of Russia.
Sergey Selivanov, Deputy Director General at EXPOCENTRE, welcomed the conference participants at Mebel 2025.
“Mebel is the main event of the year for the entire furniture industry in Russia and partner countries,” said Sergey Selivanov. “This is not just a demonstration of products, but a trend of development for the year ahead is being set here. Here new partnerships are being born, and unique opportunities are opening up. In addition to the large-scale display, we are expecting a rich conference programme with more than 40 events.”
Presentations at the conference were made by Stanislav Serov, Business Development Director at EGGER, Ilya Korotkov, Deputy Director for Strategy at CFMK, Alexandr Zaionts, founder of HOFF, Alexandr Spichak, Portfolio Manager of the Department of Credit Management in the Sberbank regional network, and other heads and experts of different relevant companies.
The conference addressed the most relevant issues of the furniture market such as the dynamics of furniture sales on marketplaces, interaction with DIY chains, working with AI, current government support measures and how to use them, and many other issues.
Mebel 2025 is open until 27 November.
