Saw-Cut Line talks show – new format of business networking

25 / 11 / 2025

The Saw-Cut Line talk show, organised by LIGA, continues at Mebel 2025. The event is taking place for the first time.

This is a live three-day talk show for furniture makers, manufacturers, designers and suppliers, where the most pressing business and technology issues are discussed. Each participant can express an opinion, ask a question, and hear the arguments of colleagues.

The name of the project comes from the technological process of furniture production. The cutting line is the initial stage from which the furniture creation process begins. The talk show will cut up ideas, opinions, and approaches, which will lead to new solutions, trends, and strategies.

The furniture industry is going through a turning point today: the market is saturated, competition is growing, and technologies are being updated faster than catalogues of materials can be released. Therefore, according to the organisers of the talk show, the industry especially needs this new format where it is possible to speak openly, argue, share experiences, and look for real solutions.

The format of the event is aimed at professionals who make decisions and shape the future of the furniture market, i.e., owners of furniture factories and studios, shop managers and technologists, furniture designers and architects, suppliers of plates, facades, fittings and equipment, and representatives of dealers and furniture brands.

The Cutting Line hosts workshops, interactive presentations, and an open dialogue with industry leaders. Special emphasis is placed on the integration of digital tools and automation as participants can see modern production management solutions in action and assess their potential for business.

The speakers include representatives of well-known brands, consulting companies, digital platforms, and furniture retailers. Saw-Cut Line is a kind of laboratory for the future of furniture production, where innovation and experience become the basis for growth.
