33rd International Exhibition for Furniture, Fittings and Upholstery

The 33rd International Exhibition for Furniture, Fittings and Upholstery – Mebel 2022 – will become an important event in the furniture and interior design industry and will traditionally bring together industry professionals from all over Russia and the CIS.

In light of the current changes, Mebel 2022 is particularly relevant for the search for new solutions. By participating and attending the show, Russian companies will get a chance to strengthen their positions, expand their range of products, and find new partners and markets.

Exhibitors will present not only new furniture, accessories and equipment for furniture production, but also finished interiors, solutions for furniture store decoration, as well as prepare advantageous terms of cooperation and special offers.

The exhibition will bring together furniture manufacturers and suppliers, architects, designers and purchasers of furniture products. Visitors will be able to see new collections and developments from Russian and foreign manufacturers, network, find inspiration and learn about the trends of the coming year.

Show Highlights

There will be a large display of companies from Turkiye: more than 70 participants will bring upholstered and cabinet furniture, fittings and accessories, upholstery fabrics (AKM Mobilya, Arici Mobilya, Aybil Mobilya, Dome Mobilya, En Mobi Mobilya, Fiba Koltuk Mobilya, Gumus Mobilya, Modis Sofa Mobilya, Pemode Mobilya, etc.)

Major Russian marketplaces, SberMegaMarket, Avito and Ozon, will also take part in the show.

For the first time, the show will feature a Rostest mobile laboratory. It will allow both exhibitors and visitors to test their products in real time for resistance to impact and other types of mechanical stress.

This year, companies from Belgorod, Chelyabinsk, Ivanovo, Kaluga, Moscow and Vladimir Oblasts, Krasnodar Krai, and Republics of Buryatia and Tatarstan are participating with financial support from their corresponding regional business development centres.

Conference Programme

The conference programme will take place in several pavilions and congress halls of the fairgrounds. As usual, it will provide every opportunity to discuss industry prospects, obtain comprehensive information on the market, and find answers to important questions for your business.

On the show’s first day, November 21, EXPOCENTRE and the Association of Furniture and Woodworking Enterprises of Russia will hold the 2nd Russian Conference of Furniture Manufacturers. Its speakers will include representatives of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and leading industry experts. The main topics will be issues of state support for the industry and the prospects for development in the current environment. On the same day, a meeting with representatives of the construction industry will take place within RusMebel Forum 2022. On the following days, the forum will cover issues of consumer behaviour in the current realities, import substitution, export development, and training for the industry.

The centre of attraction for leading interior designers will be the Design Hour project, organised jointly with the Archdialog agency. The Design Lounge will present Diana Balashova, Zhenya Zhdanova, Elena Teplitskaya, Sergey Tregubov, Zoya T, Stanislav Orekhov and other famous designers who will share their experience and talk about interior trends. A lot of attention will be given to Russian design, its identity and promotion in a competitive environment. The Russian Designers Association will hold a discussion on redefining the Russian design code and introduce talented young furniture designers. On November 23, the Union of Designers and Architects will organise the Meeting Point. Furniture+Design in Seminar Hall 3 of Pavilion No. 2.

For four days, the FCProject agency will host the Furniture Retail Fest, where businesses will discuss cutting-edge sales techniques, franchise development and use of digital technology.

On 22 November, EXPOCENTRE in partnership with KVK Imperia will organise the Purchasing Centre for Retail Chains™: Furniture, Accessories, Furnishings. It host direct talks with buyers from retail chains, online shops and furniture factories on the supply of products and components. 

On the same day, a conference on how to retain and motivate staff in difficult times will be held by the International Furniture Consultancy Centre and EXPOCENTRE. Its participants will present four models of motivation for production staff.

On 24 November, MIR (Furniture. Investments. Retail) and EXPOCENTRE will organise the Conference on Furniture Business the Russian Way. Unconventional Sales Growth Opportunities in the New Crisis 2023. Owners and top sales managers will receive the latest summary and market forecasts on sales, learn how to implement the vital business focus on sales conversion growth, how to attract customers in turbulent times, and how to manage your sales, staff and production.

Traditionally, the Golden Cabriole National Award and the International Competition of Soyuzexpertiza ANO of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will take place as part of Mebel 2022.
