The 22nd International Exhibition MEBEL’2010
Mebel’2010, the 22nd International Exhibition for Furniture, Fittings and Upholstery will take place in all pavilions of the Expocentre Fairgrounds on November 22-26, 2010. The Show is arranged by Expocentre with the assistance and participation of the Russian Federation Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Union of Timber Industrialists and Exporters, Association of the Russian Furniture and Woodworking Industry Enterprises; Centromebel, ZAO and Centrlesexpo, OAO.
The Mebel International Exhibition is the largest industry event in Eastern Europe and one of the most significant furniture industry shows in the world. The Exhibition demonstrates the diversified furniture world, modern world fashion, style and design, recent technologies and upholstery materials, interior and décor items on the European scale.
The importance of the Show for the Russian and world’s furniture market is confirmed with the patronage of the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Moscow City Government as well as with the highest awards of the International Exhibition Community: labels of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF).
The Mebel Exhibition ranks with the largest furniture salons according to its scope and commercial efficiency. Over a period of 36 years of its existence (the first exhibition took place in 1974) the Mebel Show has shown itself as an industrial exhibition project No. 1 in Russia.
This year 1 000 Russian and foreign companies from 29 countries, namely Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, Czechia, China, Croatia, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hong Kong, India, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kirgizia, Malaysia, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Korea, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine and the USA take part in the Exhibition.
National expositions are presented by companies from 7 countries that include Bulgaria, Croatia, Egypt, France, Germany, Italy and Spain.
This year the total exposition space amounts to 75 000 sq. meters.
The world furniture industry leaders including WTB Group (Germany), Niemen (Finland), Bauschlinnemann (Germany), Recitel (Germany), Mobeliana Furniture (Egypt), Cilek (Turkey), Misr Toronto for Furniture (Egypt), Muebles Panamar (Spain), Montero (Spain), Ofifran (Spain), Kronospan, Raumplus, Blum, Hettih, Haefele and many others are in the list of Mebel’2010 participants.
Such companies as Sporvil (Portugal), Forma Ideale (Serbia), JetClass (Portugal) and others will participate in the Exhibition for the first time.
The main subject of Mebel’2010 is Interior of a City Apartment. Leading companies will demonstrate their collections and possible variants to create a comfortable interior in a standard city apartment.

ANO SOYUZEXPERTIZA, the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Expocentre will held the 6th International Contest among Manufacturers of Furniture and Fittings for the Best Consumer Properties and for the Successful Promotion of High Quality Products Awards.
